The Autonomous Community of Pais Vasco

The "Basque Country" covers an area of 7200 sq.km. and has about 2 million inhabitants. The region is divided into three provinces; Álava, Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa. The capitol is Vitoria-Gasteiz although Bilbao is the most populated and also more well known in and outside of Spain.
