The Autonomous Community of Galicia

Galicia is made up of the 4 provinces; La Coruña, Lugo, Pontevedra and Ourense. The north, northwest part of the region borders to the Atlantic Ocean, The south borders to Portugal and to the east the Region of Castilla and Leon. Covering an area of almost 30.000 sq. km. and 2.78 million people inhabits this mountain and coast line area of the most northern part of Spain.
