The Autonomous Community of The Balearic Islands

Consisting of 4 islands; Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera, here listed largest first and smallest last. The Capital is Palma de Mallorca in Mallorca. The four islands covers a total land area of 5000 sq.km and has approx. 1 million inhabitants. 40% lives in the capital. The Islands are located to the east of the Iberian Peninsula in the Mediterranean Sea.
